ClarkeDesign has extensive experiencing not only working with printers, but working at the printers. Understanding the language of a skilled printer is key to ensuring jobs come out just as you want them…on-time and looking perfect!
Selecting the right printer for your print design job is key. Several factors come into play such as print-run size, color needs, binding, die-cutting, and collating. Knowing who in the industry can handle these skills best, and negotiating with them upfront prices that meet your budget, is key to a successful job. After a job is handed off to the printer, I make sure to keep open dialog and perform press-checks with them until everything is completed. If you have a company in mind to print with, that is great! Let me know early on so I can make sure everything they need is provided in the best manner.
