ClarkeDesign visually crafts Walz Cycling Caps first tradeshow appearance!

LAS VEGAS, NV – Walz Caps, maker of traditional cycling caps, attended the 2009 Interbike Tradeshow this week alongside the cycling industry's biggest names and brands. ClarkeDesign provided the design and file preparation of tradeshow booth signage, banners, and a comprehensive 16 page product catalog to enable a successful entry to the marketplace.
Walz Caps decided that Fall 2009 would mark their step up from small start-up business to being an industry player, and to do so, they enlisted the help of ClarkeDesign to make sure their image and products were well presented. Having established a solid reputation and a loyal cult following of cyclists and trend-setters, Walz wanted to expand their reach to stores, and retail chains. "ClarkeDesign has handled everything we need from print to web since day 1. It was a no-brainer to have him handle all of our requirements for the tradeshow," said Michael Gilstrap, co-owner of Walz Caps.
"Working with Michael and Jen has always been a team-oriented approach. They come with great ideas and enthusiasm and together we refine them into well-designed solutions," says Clarke Graves owner of ClarkeDesign. Their website (www.WalzCaps.com) was the initial marketing success, followed by mailers, flyers, and custom email designs to better expose the brand and products. The next step in the growth of Walz Caps was to enter the tradeshow circuit. Interbike is the industry's most attended event and provided a great opportunity.
"We wanted to extend our cycling caps to a whole new audience," said Jennifer Gilstrap, the other half of the husband-wife team. "Clarke put together signage that brought in lots of foot traffic and a catalog that produced phone calls and orders long after they left the booth," she went on to say. In the end, the show was a success for Walz Caps, and the professional and quality image they portrayed to the industry was a perfect complement to the great products the sell.
